The Town of Vermilion has approved the following Development Permit for a Permitted use. In these decisions, the Development Authority for the Town did not exercise any discretion, or relax or vary any provision of the Land Use By-Law:

Proposed Use: Placement of one free-standing electronic sign.

In accordance with the Municipal Government Act, 2000, as amended, no appeal lies to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board in respect of the issuance of a development permit for a permitted use unless the provisions of the Land Use By-Law were relaxed, varied or misinterpreted.

Legal Description: Lot 4, Block 4, Plan 142 0066
Proposed Use: Construction of a new agricultural equipment building/dealership and the placement of two backlit fascia signs and one free-standing sign.
Date of Notice: April 23, 2024
Any person claiming to be affected by this decision may appeal to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board by serving written notice of appeal and appropriate fee of $250.00 to the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 21 days of the date of this notice.
