2023-06-07 Essex County Council Special Meeting Notice

Essex County Council will hold a second public meeting, through virtual means on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM, pursuant to Section 26(3) of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended, for the purposes of discussing issues to be considered in the development of the new Official Plan.

The agenda for the Special meeting is available for viewing or download on the County website calendar for June 7, 2023 6:00 PM.

Following the Special meeting, County Council will meet at 7:00 PM for a Special Regular County Council Meeting.  The agenda for that meeting can be found on the County website calendar as well at June 7, 2023 7:00 PM

As permitted under By-law 2022-31, being a by-law to provide rules governing the order and proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the County of Essex, adopted on October 19, 2022, both meetings will take place with members of County Council joining remotely via web-conference. The meetings can also be watched in real time, as the County will be Live streaming proceedings via the County Website.
