Consultation on the Proposed Recovery Strategy for Scarlet Ammannia in Canada
Environment Canada is developing a recovery strategy for Scarlet Ammannia which is an annual plant that is listed as an endangered species and is requesting input on the recovery strategy for this plant. They are inviting landowners/land managers of land with the proposed critical habitat for this plant to participate in the public process of reviewing and providing comments to inform the development of the final recovery strategy and to be part of larger efforts to ensure the survival and recovery of species at risk. Comments can be submitted on the SAR Public Registry (www.sararegistry.gc.ca) until October 26, 2014. You can also provide comments to Environment Canada via email at speciesatrisk_ontario@ec.gc.ca.
