County of Essex Official Plan: Notice of Open House

Purpose of the Open House

The County of Essex is completing a review of its existing approved Official Plan. This review is being undertaken in accordance with the provisions set out in the Planning Act.

The Official Plan includes a broad range of goals and policies that guide and provide direction to landowners, business owners, and the community at large pertaining to how growth is managed, and how resources are protected county-wide. 

A draft of the County’s new Official Plan has been prepared, and information pertaining to the land use designations and policies that are contained within the plan will be available at the open house.

A copy of the draft plan together with reports that have been prepared as part of this review are available on the County’s website at the following link: www.countyofessex.ca/officialplanreview  

OPEN HOUSE to be held at the

McGregor Community Centre

On WEDNESDAY JUNE 26, 2024

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Members of the public who want to attend the open house must register with the Clerk’s Office no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024.
