County Road 22 Construction Update

The County of Essex understands that motorists and residents are frustrated with congestion caused by construction on County Road 42 and County Road 22.

We thank them for their understanding and patience. We have heard their concerns and we are making some adjustments.

We will keep both lanes of County Road 22 open to accommodate morning rush hour traffic. Lane restrictions will take effect at 9 a.m.

Additionally, Renaud Line Road will be closed, for one day only, on Thursday, Sept. 19, to help accelerate paving operations on County Road 22. Buses will be allowed full access for pick-up and drop-off.

Lane restrictions on County Road 22 are expected until Friday, Sept. 20.

Driveway repairs will continue until Monday, Sept. 30.
