Disability Employment Awareness Month October 2023

It's been proclaimed Disability Employment Awareness Month October 2023 in the Town of Vermilion.

Persons with disabilities are valued members of our community and deserve the opportunity to live and work with their community where they are respected and rewarded for their efforts, skills and accomplishments. Employers both in the public and private sector can benefit further from the positive outcomes of hiring more persons with disabilities.

Thanks to Mayor and Council for recognizing the importance of this month to raise awareness and celebrate the contributions of persons with disabilities.
