Essex County Construction and Road Closures: May 24, 2019

County Road 20 will have lane restrictions between Sherk Street and County Road 31 from April 15, 2019 to June 28, 2019. (Map ID. 1)

County Road 2 will be closed (bridge out) at Little Creek Bridge from February 25 to June 28, 2019. (Map ID. 2)

County Road 46 will have lane restrictions between Highway 77 and Rochester Townline from May 27 to May 31, 2019. (Map ID. 3)

County Road 34 will have lane restrictions between Malden Road and municipal address 577 W. from May 3, 2019 to May 31, 2019. (Map ID. 3)

County Road 34 will have lane restrictions between County Road 31 and County Road 45 from April 23, 2019 to May 31, 2019. (Map ID. 4)

Construction by Others:

County Road 19 at the Highway 401 ramp will be reduced to 1 lane with temporary traffic signals from May 14 to November 8, 2019 for bridge rehabilitation by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. (Map ID. 5)

County Road 20 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the Turkey Creek Bridge from May 13, 2019 to October 25, 2019 for bridge rehabilitation by the Town of LaSalle. (Map ID. 6)

County Road 11 will have lane restrictions between North Talbot Road and Highway 401 from May 6, to July 26, 2019 for sanitary sewer construction by the Town of Tecumseh. (Map ID. 7)

County Road 20 will have lane restrictions between Middle Road and Elm Avenue for sewer construction by the Town of Amherstburg from April 1 to July 1, 2019. (Map ID. 8)

County Road 22 will be closed between County Road 27 and West Belle River Road for construction of the Roundabout by the Town of Lakeshore from April 8, 2019 to June 28, 2019. (Map ID. 9)

Please Note:

Effective Monday, April 29, 2019 the posted speed limit was reduced to 60 km/hr on County Road 20 from 185 meters west of Sherk Street to 145 meters east of Kratz Road.
