Essex County Construction and Road Closures Update – June 21, 2024

The intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 10 remains closed for bridge rehabilitation work. Please follow the posted detour. (Map ID#1)

County Road 50 will have lane restrictions between County Road 41 and Wright Road beginning June 27 for road construction. (Map ID#2)

County Road 22 will have upcoming lane restrictions west of Patillo Road for road repairs. Dates will be posted as soon as they are available. (Map ID#3)

Arthur Street, Murdoch Street, Pearson Drive and Taylor Road off County Road 20 in Harrow will have lane restrictions beginning June 24 for road reconstruction. (Map ID#4)

County Road 8 will have lane restrictions between County Road 11 and Walker Sideroad beginning June 26 for road construction. (Map ID#5)

Malott Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Park Avenue, Erie Avenue, Wride Avenue and King Boulevard off of County Road 50 in the Town of Kingsville will have lane restrictions beginning June 27 for road reconstruction. (Map ID#6)

County Road 50 remains closed between County Road 13 (Erie Road) and Klies Beach Road for culvert replacement. Truck traffic should use the posted detour. All businesses remain open during construction and local business traffic can use alternate routes. For public safety, please refrain from moving construction fencing and do not enter a construction site at any time. (Map ID#7)

County Road 42 and County Road 43 roundabout construction will begin May 13. Please use caution and obey all flag persons and construction signs. (Map ID #8)

County Road 42 will be closed in both directions with local access only to residents and businesses beginning June 17 from County Road 43 (Banwell Road) to Lauzon Road. The full closure is expected to last about three months. (Map ID#8) All businesses remain open during construction.
