Essex County Construction and Road Closures Update – Sept. 13, 2024
The intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 10 is now open and is operating with two way stopping control.
County Road 9 will be reduced to one lane between North Side Road and County Road 10 beginning July for approximately six weeks. Please obey temporary traffic signals and exercise caution in the area.
County Road 15 will be closed between County Road 11 and County Road 18 for bridge rehabilitation work, beginning August 13 for approximately 14 weeks.
County Road 8 will have lane restrictions between County Road 11 and Walker Sideroad beginning Wednesday, September 18 for road construction.
County Road 11 will have lane restrictions between North Malden Road and Texas Road beginning Tuesday, September 17 for road construction.
County Road 22 will have lane restrictions east of Patillo Road for road repairs.
County Road 20 will have lane restrictions between Iler Road and County Road 23 beginning Friday, September 13 for road construction.
County Road 50 will have lane restrictions between County Road 41 and Wright Road beginning Tuesday, September 3 for road construction.
Wright Road will have lane restrictions between County Road 50 and Gore Road beginning Wednesday July 10 for road construction.
County Road 34 will have lane restrictions between County Road 19 (Manning Rd) to Wilson Sideroad beginning Monday, July 29 for road construction
County Road 42 will have lane restrictions between County Road 37 and Highway 401 beginning Wednesday, July 31 for road construction.
County Road 27 will have lane restrictions between County Road 14 and County Road 34 beginning Thursday, August 1 for road construction.
County Road 46 will have lane restrictions between County Road 19 (Manning Rd) to Lakeshore Road 203 beginning Wednesday, July 24 for road construction.
County Road 42 will be closed in both directions with local access only to residents and businesses beginning June 17 from County Road 43 (Banwell Road) to Lauzon Road. The full closure is expected to last about three months. All businesses remain open during construction.
