Essex County Council Meeting Stop on Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing's Building Bridges Tour

The Honourable Ted McMeekin, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, will be making some stops in Essex County on Wednesday, July 15th, 2015, as part of his Building Bridges Tour.

Stops in Essex County will include:

• the King’s Navy Park Gazebo at the Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site of Canada for a Small Communities Fund Event;
• meeting with Town of Tecumseh Council at Tecumseh Town Hall;
• tour of Thomas' Utopia Brand canning factory in Lakeshore; and
• appearing as a delegation before Essex County Council at 6:00 p.m. in Essex County Council Chambers.

Minister McMeekin plans to briefly address Essex County Council and then members of County Council will have an opportunity to share their comments and questions. 

Following his closing comments to Essex County Council, Minister McMeekin will accept media questions in the lobby outside of Council Chambers (6:45 PM to 7:00 PM).
