Help Us Promote the Ontario Health Study's Visit to Windsor

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is working with the Ontario Health Study (OHS) to help promote their upcoming visit to our community. The OHS will be conducting a Study Centre at the WFCU Centre at 8787 McHugh Street in Windsor from December 10 to 14, 2014. They are asking Windsor and Essex County residents between the ages of 35 and 69 to consider taking part in the research study. A small amount of time from local residents may help researchers understand the causes of chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, asthma, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s. Participants will also be asked to give a sample of blood. The OHS research is the largest population-based health study ever done in Ontario, and one of the biggest in the world.
