Deputy Mayor
Councillor Joshua Rayment has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of May and June 2022.
Delegations
Mr. Donald L. Isaman Professional Corporation – Presentation of 2021 Audit
Mr. Isaman gave an overview of the specific statements included in the Financial Statements package presented to Council.
Mr. James MacDonald – Northern Lights Library System (NLLS)
Mr. McDonald provided an overview of NLLS and explained the system and the programs that are offered through the library. He gave a presentation on the 2021 Value Statement of the Northern Lights Library System.
Mr. Dave Marks and Mr. Gerry May – Tenwell Site #1 Vermilion – Orphan Well Association
Mr. Marks gave an overview of the history of the well within the Brennan Subdivision. He highlighted the extensive work to date. He also highlighted the work planned for late May/June 2022, including communications with residents.

National Volunteer Week April 24-30, 2022
Council proclaimed April 24-30, 2022 as National Volunteer Week.

A number of Committee Reports were received for information.
Transportation and Utilities
Capital Budget Amendments
Council approved an amendment to the 2022 Capital Budget to increase Vehicle Replacement from $297,000 to $316,000.
Council approved the disposal of the surplus utilities van and street sweeper through auction or trade-in on purchase.
Vermilion Public Library Reserve Transfers
Council approved the withdraw of $10,590 from equipment reserves to purchase library equipment, and direct administration to move $8,625 in funding to our contingency reserve.
