Mr. Graham Groucett brought forward concerns of the airport survey and transparency in Council proceedings.

National Volunteer Week 2023

Council declared April 16-22, 2023 as National Volunteer Week.

Lt. Col. W.C. Craig Armoury Historical Society – Letter of Support

Council approved administration to provide a letter of support for facility upgrading at the Lt. Col W.C. Craig Armoury Historical Society.

A number of Committee Reports were received for information.

Parks, Recreation and Culture

2023 – 2024 Ice User Rental Rates

Council tabled the Parks, Recreation and Culture Committee recommendation to increase Ice Rates 7% for Adult, Youth, Jr. B and Non-Resident/Other for the 2023-2024 season effective September 1, 2023.recommendation of a 4% increase in user fees for the Vermilion Regional Centre for three years, beginning 2022 and ending December 31, 2025.

Council postponed Ice User Rental Rates to a future Council Meeting after further information is received.
