Employee Benefits Policy 2023

Council approved the updated Employee Benefits Policy for January 2023.

Auditor Appointment for 2022 Fiscal Year

Council approved Isaman Chopek Corporation as the external financial auditors for the 2022 fiscal year.

Elected Officials Remuneration Policy 2023

Council approved the Elected Officials Remuneration Policy 2023 with a revision to Section 10.3 from a review period of 4 years, changed to review annually.

Industrial versus Residential Lots

Council received report prepared by Planning and Development on options regarding potential residential lots. More information to be brought forward.

Talk of the Town

Council requested costs associated with a one page, double sided black and white paper version of the Talk of the Town e-newsletter for residents that do not access the digital version.

Financial

2023 Operating and Capital Budget

Council approved the 2023-2025 Operating Budget with revenues and expenses detailed in the attached Appendix A and 2023-2027 Capital Budget and Forecast with expenditures and funding detailed in Appendix B, which includes an increase in property tax revenue of 4.2% and an increase in Water, Sewer and Solid Waste Utility rates as detailed in Appendix C.
