Council gave all three readings to Borrowing Bylaw – Operating Expenses 1-2024.

Public Commentary

Mr. Salt commended Council for following up on the provincial water restrictions and notifying public. He brought forward ideas of the Town putting out information to residents on preparing for potential upcoming drought conditions.

Mr. Erwin Warkentin also addressed Council regarding potential upcoming drought. Mr. Warkentin suggested the idea of rain barrels being purchased in bulk and made available to residents for purchase at cost.

Request for Decision – Implementing Photo Radar

Council directed administration not to proceed with exploring photo radar options for the Town of Vermilion at this time.
