Councillor Richard Yaceyko has been appointed as Deputy Mayor for the months of July and August 2021.

New Business

Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) Arbitration

Council agreed to enter into Arbitration with the County of Vermilion River as directed by the Minister of Municipal Affairs, for the purpose of concluding an ICF (Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework agreement) and that all costs for the Arbitration incurred jointly be shared equally.

Updating Employee Benefits Policy for Expense Reimbursement

Council approved the updated Employee Benefits Policy for June 2021 to be effective upon passing.

Proclamation – National Drowning Prevention Week

Council proclaimed the week of July 18-24, 2021 as National Drowning Prevention Week.
