Account Receivable Write-Offs
Council approved the write off, of the uncollectible account of The County of Vermilion River in the amount of $11,391 to be expensed in the 2021 fiscal year.
COVID-19 Pandemic Costs for Vermilion Public Library & Vermilion & District Housing Foundation
Council approved the allocation of up to $20,000 to the Vermilion Public Library and up to $10,000 to the Vermilion and District Housing Foundation to be funded from the Provincial government’s Municipal Operating Support Transfer (MOST) Grant in 2021.
County of Vermilion River and Town of Vermilion Midtown Medical Clinic Agreement
Council approved the agreement that the County of Vermilion River contribute $5,000 annually for a three (3) year term to the Town of Vermilion to support the deficit of the Midtown Medical Clinic and recommends to each Council for ratification at their next meeting, on March 2, 2021 for Town of Vermilion and March 9, 2021 for the County of Vermilion River.
Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) 2020 Marketing Canada Awards Winner
Council accepted for information the 2020 Marketing Canada Awards Press Release Announcement of the Town of Vermilion being awarded a Marketing Canada Award for the 2020 advertising campaign #VermilionOnline Festival.

Council agreed not to increase the Community Wing rental rates for 2021/22.
2022 Vermilion Regional Centre (VRC) Hall Rental Rates
Council agreed not to increase the Regional Centre Hall rental rates for 2022.
