Delegations

Ms. Darla Snow – Operations Manager of Vermilion Play Development

Ms. Darla Snow provided an overview of Vermilion Play Development early learning and childcare services. Currently there are programs in the Vermilion Elementary School and the Lakeland College Vermilion campus with two more locations to open in the future. Ms. Snow is requesting a letter of support from Council or the Town of Vermilion for application of provincial grant with a federal agreement.

Bylaws

Bylaw 6-2022 – Borrowing Bylaw

Council gave second, third and final reading to Bylaw 6-2022.

Strategic Planning Survey Results 2022

Council accepted as information.

Economic Development

Yellowhead Business Park – Sale Extension

Council approved extending the sale of Industrial lots in both Yellowhead and East Point Industrial Business Parks at $99,000 per acre until December 31, 2023.
