Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) – Bylaw #3-2021

Council gave second, third and final reading to Bylaw 3-2021.

New Business

Public Commentary

Council gave thanks to Mr. Derek Young for his service to the community and wished him luck in his future endeavors. Mr. Young will be leaving his position as Director of Infrastructure and Planning Services with the Town of Vermilion.

Council highlighted Fire Chief Bill Roth’s many initiatives and service to the Town of Vermilion. Fire Chief Bill Roth will be retiring from his position with the Vermilion Fire Department.

Bellamy/Serenic Software Licensing Fee

Council approved a three year fixed price agreement with Serenic Software for $57,573 in each of 2022, 2023 and 2024 to be funded through operating budget.

East Point Business Lot Sale

Council placed East Point Business Park Industrial lots on sale at $99,000 per acre until December 31, 2022.

Parks, Recreation and Culture

Community Grant Allocation – Vermilion Vipers Swim Club

Council accepted the committee recommendation of $1,000.00 to support the Vermilion Vipers Swim Club from the community grant allocation.
