Mr. Michael van der Torre was introduced as the new Director of Community Services.

Delegations

ATCO - Mr. William York, Senior Engineer – Electric Vehicles Charging Stations

Mr. William York gave an overview of the EV Conversion Feasibility Studies. Topics highlighted were electrical capacity and infrastructure, ability to recharge at home and at charging stations as well as the cost differences. Also discussed were the economic benefits to surrounding areas where charging stations are located.

Appointment of Committee Member – Ryan Leahy – Committee Recommendation

Council approved the appointment of Ryan Leahy to the Parks, Recreation and Culture Board for a term of (3) three years as a representative from the ice user community.
