Public Commentary

Mr. Bradley Gallamore presented to Council the upcoming Vermilion Culture Fest event on September 24 and 25, 2022 at the Vermilion Curling Rink. He highlighted the intent of the event is to raise awareness and showcase multicultural talents, food, artisans and artifacts in the Lakeland Region. Mr. Gallamore extended an invitation to all Council members and public to this free event.

Capital Budget Amendments

Council approved an amendment to the 2021 Capital Budget to increase Ice Making Equipment from $8,000 to $13,000.

Rail Safety Week 2022 - Proclamation

Council proclaimed September 19-25, 2022 as Rail Safety Week.

Talk of the Town Newsletter

Council had a discussion and requested more information from administration.

Closed Session

Council moved the Regular Meeting of Council from September 20 to September 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
