Mike Galloway named new Chief Administrative Officer for the Corporation of the County of Essex
Essex County, ON - After completing a competitive recruitment process, the County of Essex is pleased to share that Mike Galloway has accepted the position as the County’s new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Mr. Galloway is an experienced municipal professional and has served as CAO for the Town of Caledon in the Region of Peel, the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and locally with the Township of Pelee. Mr. Galloway has also been active in the broader public sector through his involvement as an instructor for the Diploma in Municipal Management Program through AMCTO, as a lecturer at Brock University and via his fifteen years of service on the Board of Directors for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).
Mr. Galloway holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton.
County of Essex Warden Gary McNamara said that he looks forward to welcoming Mr. Galloway to the role.

Galloway will transition into the new role in February.
