I wish to advise that a letter of resignation was received today from Councillor Clint McCullough. Mr. McCullough has advised that he has moved his family out of the community and resigns his seat on Council effective today, June 22, 2021.
Please join me in thanking Clint and his family for over 13 years of service as a member of Council. Since we are less than 4 months from the general municipal election, and to be consistent with the Municipal Government Act, a by-election will not be required. This Councillor position will remain vacant until after the municipal election.
