Proposed 2022 Budget Released

The Proposed 2022 Budget for the County of Essex has now been posted on the County of Essex website. Alternative formats are available upon request.

Written submissions relating to the Proposed Budget will be accepted by Sandra Zwiers, Director of Financial Services/Treasurer, until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She can also be contacted if you wish to make arrangements to view or receive a print copy of the proposed Budget document.

Essex County Council will undertake deliberations and consider adoption of the proposed 2022 Budget on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 4:00 PM. This meeting will take place electronically, in accordance with Procedure By-law 41-2018, as amended by By-law 2020-16, and the Municipal Act, 2001.

Additional Budget Deliberations (if required) will take place during the regular (electronic) meeting of Essex County Council on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
