Registration for the 2016 Essex County Accessibility Workshop is now Open!

The 2016 Essex County Accessibility Workshop - Opening Doors, Opening Minds, is being held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Heritage Park Alliance Church, in LaSalle, Ontario.

This year's workshop features a keynote address by Dr. Jeff Preston, Professor of Digital Marketing at Fanshawe College, where he invites you to rethink disability and education. In addition, the workshop will feature other compelling speakers presenting on the following topics;

• Sexual health and disability
• Navigating 'the system': a parent's story of advocacy
• "Do the Smart Thing"- a Mayoral challenge
• Stories of accessibility
• PTSD and first-responder legislation
• Understanding depression and anxiety

The workshop is from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and the cost of registration ($37.00, including taxes) includes light breakfast refreshments and lunch.
