Windsor and Essex County Environment Committee's "Pat on the Back" Community Funding Awards

The Windsor and Essex County Environment Committee would like to invite you to apply for the “Pat on the Back” community funding opportunity. Four awards of $500 each will be given to local, not-for-profit groups or schools who work hard to improve our environment and contribute to sustainability in Windsor-Essex.

Examples of projects they are looking for include, but are not limited to: native species planting projects, community gardens, clean-up events, environmental education/promotion, conservation, re-use or recycling, environmental art, etc.

Please visit the Windsor Essex County Environment Committee's website at www.wecec.org to download an application. Once completed, the application form can be emailed to Dustin Carey at dcarey@citywindsor.ca.

The deadline for applications is Friday May 27, 2016.
