Windsor-Essex Vaccination Clinics Not Affected by Shutdown
Windsor-Essex residents eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination will still be able to attend their scheduled appointments under the new restrictions announced today by the Province of Ontario.
Vaccination clinics are already engaging in strict infection control processes designed to keep people safe and healthy while attending their appointments. Clinic staff will take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of residents during their visit. Public health measures, such as physical distancing, hand sanitization and mask-wearing, are in place at clinics, and all health care providers, patients, other staff and visitors are required to follow all public health measures while at the clinic. Remember, appointments must be booked. No walk-ins are allowed.
There are currently five vaccination clinics offering immunization to residents of Windsor and Essex County:
- WFCU Centre
- Windsor Hall - former Windsor Star building downtown
- St. Clair College Sportsplex
- Libro Credit Union Centre – Amherstburg
- Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre – Leamington
