    The County of Essex has officially terminated the Declaration of Emergency enacted by Warden Gary McNamara on March 22, 2020 in response to COVID-19 and rising water levels in the Great Lakes basin. The Declaration of Emergency ended at 9 a. m.

  • Temporary Closure of County Road 42 in Tecumseh Postponed

    The closure of County Road 42 between Lauzon Road and County Road 19 (Manning Road) that was planned for Sunday, April 10, has been postponed. Hydro One requested the closure but has notified the County of Essex that it must postpone the work that requires closing the road to traffic.
